Books written by Karen Marie Moning never fail to deliver; but Karen Marie Moning books read by the voices of Phil Gigante and Natalie Ross are a thrill to the senses.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started this next chapter in the Fever series, it’s focus on Dani “Mega” O’Malley. I was scared that I might be one annoying scene after the next. Well… I found myself actually enjoying the world seen through Dani’s eyes. Although I just couldn’t get past the fact that Dani is only 14 years old, right? The entire book had this strange love “square”, yes I said square. Enter Christian McKeltar, oh yeah, you remember that sexy Scot that was a hunky bartender at Ryodan’s bar? He’s back and sporting some dark Fae Prince sex appeal…. and Ryodan; bar owner, badass and all round “WTF are you anyways?”, and to complete the mix is boy genius; Dancer. I loved Dancer’s character in the book, but really wished to find out more about this tall, lanky and resourceful “bestie” of Dani’s. I hope that in the future we see much more of this interesting bloke. There was a strange “vibe” going on between Ryoden and Dani all throughout the book; and creepy lecherous moments between Christian and Dani. I’m not sure which disturbed me more… But I knew to expect something after all the chatter in the blogs and reviews. I found nothing wrong with the way the tale unfolded, but rather enjoyed the journey. The book is jam packed with action, adventure and never ending trouble that Dani always seems to get herself into. The great chemistry between Dani and Ryodan makes this book, weather they were saving each others life or trying to kill each other; it kept me entertained throughout. In the end, Dani teams with all of her “square” fan club and risks life and limb to save her beloved Dublin. You get your HEA… well sort of.
