He’s the bad-boy biker. She’s the good girl working in her family’s Indian restaurant. On the surface, nothing about Trucker Carrigan and Pinky Grover’s instant, incendiary, attraction makes sense. But when they peel away the layers and the assumptions—and their clothes—everything falls into place. The need. The want. The light. The laughter. They have more in common than they ever could’ve guessed. Is it enough? They won’t know until they take a chance on each other—and on love.
Pinky Grover came home from grad school to help her family out while her mom was sick. But it’s been a couple of years and the cancer is in remission, and Pinky is in a rut.
Trucker Carrigan, notorious bad boy, is back, and he’s now the enforcer for the Eagles motorcycle club. They terrorize the town, but they leave her parents alone, and other than coming in to the restaurant and eating, Pinky and Trucker have no reason to see each other. But whenever they do see each other, her mind goes to dirty places. I mean, the guy looks like bearded Chris Evans, so umm, can we blame the girl?
The reason I bought a motorcycle club book was because I was told this was a soft and fluffy book with a hero who looked like Chris Evans. This is exactly what I needed! But I didn’t realize it was a motorcycle club type book. The thing about Suleikha Snyder’s writing is that I didn’t care. I was all in for a crappy thug of a hero. And that’s not like me at all. But you know what?
Trucker isn’t a thug. He’s actually not even a bad guy. And this isn’t a motorcycle club book.
I won’t spoil what’s really going on, but this book truly is light, fluffy, sexy, and has a Bearded Chris Evans hero. But don’t just read it for sexy Captain America, read it for Pinky. She’s a pretty rad heroine, and I want more like her. Read this book, you won’t be disappointed.
