The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
~this meme was inspired in part by – In My Mailbox~
It’s a chance to share News.A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
Wow, time truly does fly. I can’t believe Christmas is already here. Thanksgiving was just too late this year and December has flown by. It has been a crazy year, especially for us here at Got Fiction blog. So many changes in such a seemingly-short amount of time, yikes! But, we are so very appreciative of our online and book-bloggy community. You readers and blog followers have stuck with us through all the changes, so THANK YOU! Each of the bloggers here at Got Fiction have been crazy busy with our families and Holiday preparations (as I’m sure most everyone is). We have slowed down on content a bit, but that means that we will have plenty more coming up soon (you know, if we EVER get caught up on reviews…) In the meantime, I’m sitting here, writing this Sunday Post, and enjoying my mug of Mulled Wine (recipe went up this week, if you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out….).
This Week at Got Fiction? Blog:
- Review: After the Storm by Maya Banks (posed from Highland Hussy)
- Review: Entwined by Kristen Callihan. 5 Stars! (from Highland Hussy)
- Top-Off Tuesday: Natural Law by Joey W. Hill (from Book Savvy Babe)
- Cover Reveal: Unconditional by Cherie M. Hudson
- Interview & Giveaway w/ Maria V. Snyder #YA Wednesdays (from The Book Heroine)
- Vonda Sinclair Guest Post w/ Giveaway (from Highland Hussy)
- Book Savvy Babe’s Mulled Wine Recipe
- Eliza Knight Guest Blog & Exclusive Excerpt from A Kilted Christmas Wish
New to the TBR:
Umm… It’s been awhile since I’ve done a Sunday Post. I have not been accumulating too many books lately, and it’s been tough to keep track of what I’ve already shared. I know that I have received more books than I am sharing here, but, I have A LOT going on right now. I’m just happy to be back blogging, even a little bit, right now (more on THAT topic to come…) Anyhow, here’s a look at my most recent new reads:
For Review:
Be With Me by Jennifer L. Armentrout/ J. Lynn (courtesy William Morrow)
Seduced by Fire by Tara Sue Me (courtesy NAL)
Bought, Borrowed, Freebies, etc:
- Kindling the Moon:An Arcadia Bell Novel by Jenn Bennett
- The Christmas Ball by Sherrill Bodine (freebie)
- The Dare by Karin Tabke (freebie)
- Divergent by Veronica Roth
I hope you all get to dive into some great reads this Holiday season! From myself and the rest of us here at Got Fiction blog,
Happy Holidays!
P.S. I still encourage all you wine lovers to give my Mulled Wine recipe a try…. just saying… Let me know what you think 😉
I haven’t done a Sunday Post in a long time either. You were way more active on your blog than I was. I usually post just about every day, but only had 2 posts for the week.
Having multiple bloggers really helps, and we still all slow down this time of year 🙂
Yay for wine!
I need to read Divergent! I’ve had the book since it came out, and now the dang movie is. It hasn’t already been released yet, right? I’m obviously so on top of things – haha.
Happy Holidays and best wishes for 2014!
Ooh nice haul! I enjoyed Divergent and its other books! Hope you enjoy the trilogy too and of course the rest of your new (to me too!) reads!
Here’s my STS
Have a GREAT day!
