WARNING: CLIFFHANGER!!! This book has a MAJOR cliffhanger that is wrapped up in March in Atlantis! If you don't like cliffhangers, wait till March in Atlantis and read both!!

Poseidon's Warrior Jake spent years exploring the world and developing a cool, laid-back exterior to mask the turmoil of emotion he's fighting so hard to control. But when he rescues what his boat-mates think is a mermaid (she's a Sea Fae; mermaids don't exist) and Poseidon himself hurls him into the middle of missions to protect humanity, Jake's surfer-boy disguise won't last for long.

And when he meets human-turned-falcon-shifter Savannah in the middle of a deadly hostage situation, the protective instincts--and perhaps the madness--that Jake has held bottled up for so long is about to explode.

Fighting his own instincts, his soul's longing for his mate, and a dangerous group of human nationalists who want to destroy everything--and everyone--supernatural, Jake will have to discover what is most important to him. And he'll have to do all of this--while falling in love-- in FEBRUARY IN ATLANTIS.

Warning: This book contains magic, Atlantis, Poseidon, warriors, human nationalists, falcon shifters, an armed standoff, a surfer boy, a king and queen, the FBI Paranormal Operations division, a black sheep, bad boys, paranormal romance, fantasy, matchmaking, laughter, danger, kisses, and a happily ever after. Read at your own risk!

Continuing on in her theme of a Year in Atlantis, this book follows Savannah, a carefree woman who works temp jobs just long enough to get some cash to travel, then does it again. She’s in Florida temping for a company that as she’s stuffing envelopes, she finds out is a human supremacist group. Well, she’s not down with that, so she chews out her boss. They convince her to stay through the next day, or they won’t give her a reference, which means no more temp jobs, and actually, no more job. Needing money and the good reference, she agrees to work 3 hours only to hand out the tote bags at the conference the next day.

Mad she had to go against her morals, she drinks her sorrows away at a bar. When her friend goes and hooks up with some guy, she’s stuck with some creeps who won’t leave her alone. Until she meets Jake. But in the scuffle, she gets scratched somehow, propositions Jake, and passes out all in the same few minutes.

The next morning, she wakes, alone, and gets ready to go pass out tote bags to the stupid anti-paranormals. While she’s there, guess who she gives a tote bag to? Yep, Jake! And also? The jerks from last night.

Jake is there undercover, and he claims Savannah as his girl to protect her from the jerks. But of course it doesn’t end there. However, the story pretty much does.

This ends with the mother of all cliffhangers. Seriously. Except, it’s less cliffhanger and more like this series is a serial. This month’s installment is leaving us wanting. Luckily the next book is out, so you wont’ have to wait like I did.

I have to say that it’s abrupt and kind of frustrating, but at least you get a Happy For Now type ending, knowing that Jake and Savannah have a plan and that they’ll be back soon in March In Atlantis.
