Sneaking a Peek

Sneaking a Peek by Eden Summers
My rating: 4 of 5 flames

Well, that was hotter than I expected. I read this while waiting on the playground to pick up my daughter, and uhh…yeah…here’s a tip. Don’t read it on the playground. I kept glancing around thinking people could tell why I kept uncrossing and crossing my legs. Goodness me, that was way too steamy to read without a drink, and way too steamy for the playground. O.o

So Tarney is just settling in to watch her hot fireman neighbor get ready to workout. She’s got her wine, she’s got a great chair on the porch that almost makes it look like she’s watching the street rather than her neighbor, and then she gets a phone call.

Her friend calls and Tarney starts describing Ethan’s workout to her. But she has to lean way too far back in her chair to catch glimpses to describe to her friend, and sure enough, she falls. Ethan comes to her rescue, and he doesn’t plan on leaving any time soon.

The one thing that really surprised me with this story, though, was the humor. Author Eden Summers has a great gift for working humor into a scene without it feeling cheesy or forced.

I will definitely keep watching this author for new stories, and I recommend her for anyone wanting a good fireman erotic romance.
