This week I received some great Audio Books from Brilliance Audio for review
The Rope by Nevada Barr
It’s a Waverly Life by Maria Murnane
Once Bitten by Stephen Leather
Lost Boy/Lost Girl by Peter Straub
Switched by Amanda Hocking
Angle Fire by L.A. Weatherly
I must confess just how much I LOVE audio books. Since I have a day job and most of my time involves driving from client to client; I spend a lot of time in the car. This is the only way I seem to squeeze in a few books a week when I don’t have time to actually sit down and read.
What’s your favorite way to get your read on?
I also find that I’m able to take greater risks on the books I select when they are in Audio format. If you’ve ever had a book that is so slow going you can’t seem to make it through the first chapter…try it in audio, you’ll be surprized just how entertaining it can be when acted out by a professional Audio Actor.
It’s kinda like watching a movie about a book, but you actually get the Whole Book and all the facts with an Audio book.
But enough random banter… Have you seen the new MP3-CDs? No more big boxes with 12 cds inside to fumble with in the car.
The entire book is on 1 disk (or maybe 2 if it’s a big book) for your reading pleasure and in a single DVD size case. I love the new format.
