I am an Avid reader and mother of 3 adult children. Now 7 years after creating my first blog, Demon Lover's Book & More; book blogging has become my passion. Creating www.GotFiction.com blog has allowed me the opportunity to review great books, make wonderful friends and meet amazing authors.
Holy crap woman! Well if we lived next door, you know I would not mind helping you out and telling you you could store them at my house ***lmao*** That was funny!!!!
lol you crack me up! You weren’t kidding when you told me they were all over your dining room! My nightstand is full of books on top, in the drawer and underneath. But you take the cake hon!
Cecile Are you saying I can start my own DemonLover’s Swap? LOL Maybe I need to put a Paypal button on my page so everyone can help me support my habit?? hehehehe
The good news is that most of my books only cost 99 cents. I am a bargain shopper! DL
Oh Moi, I guess if I have to have a problem, I couldn’t think of a better one. Well… excess sex with hot male book cover models would go to the top of the list! But that’s not REALLY a problem, now is it! LMAO
I had to use my many over-flowing bookshelves as an excuse to buy a Kindle–I figure then I’m not tripping over each new book. Actually, I just updated my own blog and illustrated the number places I have random piles of books (minus the pictures…no one needs to see the clutter of my house!)
Actually Target has them for 29.99 and they’re easy to put together and pretty sturdy. Just don’t move them unless they are empty, that way they hold up.
Hi J.Leigh I checked out your blog and joined. I understand the fondness for the Kindle and the savings, but I am a booklover. I like to hold a novel in my hands and enjoy the feel of the pages. The excitement when your bookmark is almost to the end… I will never go to digital, I have too much fun hunting book tresure at local goodwills and used bookstores. I heard the prices of ebooks is going to double??
Well, either way.. Keep on reading. Thanks for the visit!
What a great problem, you need to make a room in your house a Library and have all the walls covered in books and a huge comfortable chair in the middle, coffee machine and lots of chocolate, lol.
Oh how I love to see other peoples bookcases! And yours are so clean and tidy lol. Mine are a mess right now, just about ready to do a overhaul to make more room and see what I have to add to PBS.
As for stacks all over the place… I think each and everyone of us can say we have the same thing going on lol I have a small stack on the floor I hope to get upon a shelf soon!
I would never say you have a “Problem”,you have a wonderful start to a “Library” of your own! I have the same thing happening as do many of us, found good books sales and now TBR shelves and stacks are bigger than the space we have to store them in. At one point lived in a home so small had 30 boxes of books plus stacks on the floor by my reading chair and the nightstand and the desk!!!
Yay for us bookies, gotta have em in my hand and an electronic book will not suffice for me either!!
Five stars are like six-pack abs on a really tan, hunky guy not wearing much. They make us drool, we stroke them (the books, not the guys! - sometimes the guys...) and want to make sweet, sweet love to them. Five stars is the hottest, we mean, highest honor.
Four stars is a total hunkalicious of burning love, but maybe we didn't like his hair for some reason. We still think he's hot, and we're still going to recommend him, we mean, the book, to readers because it's a damn fine ass, we mean book.
Three stars = that awkward guy at the party. He's cute and you know he's cute, and if you look at him the right way, he even looks like Brad Pitt a little, but there are flaws. Surprisingly, he's good in bed (because you got drunk and shit happens).
Remember that - yeah we don't either.
One star is like expecting a somewhat attractive guy and being sent a Grumpy cat meme. We appreciate the effort, but no. This book was not for us. Grumpy cat might want to use it for litter though.

Wow! What a great problem to have!

One woman’s problem is another woman’s bliss. LOL 😉

Where do you get your bookshelves from? I need a new one but I’m not sure where to go. I got one from Walmart and it isn’t too sturdy. IKEA perhaps?

Impressive collection for sure!
Perhaps you will have to pick favorites to put on the shelf so you can grab and re-read often. 🙂
