The Writing Team of C.R. Moss & RM Sotera ~ …heating up the Wild West!
C.R. Moss ~ Hi! Thanks for having me here today. 🙂 My name is Chris, and I write under the names C.R. Moss for erotic and mainstream romance and Casey Moss for mainstream dark fiction (horror, suspense, urban fantasy). My professional bio for C.R.: “An eccentric and eclectic writer, C.R. Moss pens stories for the mainstream and erotic romance markets, giving readers Worlds of Possibilities when it comes to love.” Basically I write stories from the light and sweet to the dark and deadly with varying degrees of sexual heat. The bio for my other persona: Casey Moss delves into the darker aspects of life in her writing, sometimes basing the stories on reality, sometimes on myth. No matter the path, her stories will take you on a journey from the light-hearted paranormal to dark things unspeakable. What waits around the corner? Come explore… & what I write is also what I like to read. 😉
RM Sotera ~ R.M. Sotera is a romance vixen stuck in the body of a prim and proper woman. A transplant to Las Vegas, by day she is a wife, mom, taxi driver, counselor, and psychologist to her wild and, at times, crazy friends. But when the family goes to bed and the house is dark, she seeks refuge in her office where her deepest desires take hold. And…ultimately a story is born. I’m a wife, mom, school teacher and author. I’m very OCD, and I love red licorice. I write paranormal romance, urban fantasy and romantic suspense. I read those genres and others, too!
About our current books ~
The Double D Ranch Tales series are sexy stories from the minds of authors C.R. Moss & R.M. Sotera. 🙂 We’ve been asked: Was there anything specific that inspired the series? (ie: tv show/movie, actor or model)? And, we answer with a resounding ‘Yes!’ The inspiration came from a trip C.R. went on to a working ranch. Very inspiring for the muse. 😉 There were ranchers/cowboys who actually wore the hats and chaps, horses, trail rides, campfires, cattle, and food cooked outside. C.R.’s muse started asking, “What if?” and when she returned home with a handful of ideas, she went to RM and said, “Guess what we’re going to write about.” RM was a bit worried about pulling it off not having been there herself, but C.R. had taken a lot of pictures and then we placed ‘our ranch’ in the area we live in. A few tweaks here and there and the Double D was born. As for the rest of the ideas for all our stories, they came about from a lot of brainstorming. There are currently two books available ~ Wild West Weekend & Wild West Hauntings ~ and we’re working on a third full and two novellas within the series. We’re also hoping to do a fourth full down the road! For more on the two available stories visit these links:
And here’s a little bit of trivia… The picture was taken at RomCon2012 when C.R. and RM were brainstorming two of the Double D Ranch Tales stories & is of RM taking notes.
Please leave a comment for us! We’ll be tossing the names of those who comment into a hat and drawing one to win a pdf copy of winner’s choice between either Wild West Weekend or Wild West Hauntings for today’s prize.
I am an Avid reader and mother of 3 adult children. Now 7 years after creating my first blog, Demon Lover's Book & More; book blogging has become my passion. Creating www.GotFiction.com blog has allowed me the opportunity to review great books, make wonderful friends and meet amazing authors.
Five stars are like six-pack abs on a really tan, hunky guy not wearing much. They make us drool, we stroke them (the books, not the guys! - sometimes the guys...) and want to make sweet, sweet love to them. Five stars is the hottest, we mean, highest honor.
Four stars is a total hunkalicious of burning love, but maybe we didn't like his hair for some reason. We still think he's hot, and we're still going to recommend him, we mean, the book, to readers because it's a damn fine ass, we mean book.
Three stars = that awkward guy at the party. He's cute and you know he's cute, and if you look at him the right way, he even looks like Brad Pitt a little, but there are flaws. Surprisingly, he's good in bed (because you got drunk and shit happens).
Remember that - yeah we don't either.
One star is like expecting a somewhat attractive guy and being sent a Grumpy cat meme. We appreciate the effort, but no. This book was not for us. Grumpy cat might want to use it for litter though.
I really like the names Trace and Zane. Both make me think of cowboys. Thanks for the giveaway!

Yee Haw, it has been a long time since I have had a hot cowboy. Oh, I mean read a book with a hot cowboy in it.
Colton, love that name.
Thanks for the fun post and giveaway! I’ve always been partial to Colton or James.
I love the name Caleb or Blaine. [email protected]
hmmm, lets think about this…. Blake sounds like the winner to me 😉
